Gulab Jamun is a mild solid based Indian sweet. Gulab Jamun is liked by all age groups of people. Here we will see how to prepare gulab jamun in our kitchen in a simple process.


MTR GulabJamun powder – 1 cup 

Boiled milk                        – 1 cup

Ghee                                  – 2 table spoons

Oil/ Ghee                           – 2 cups

Sugar                                  – 2 cups

Water                                  – 2 cups

Cardamom(Green)               – 4

Gulab Jamun is prepared by following steps:

Step 1:  Take one cup of MTR Gulab Jamun Mix in a bowl and add milk in it. Make sure that mixture is uniform. keep it aside for 20 minutes.

Step 2:  Now take a bowl add 2 cups of water, 2 cups of sugar and 4 crushed green cardamoms to it. Boil the water until it become sticky.

Step 3: Now apply small quantity of ghee to our hands and make small balls.

Step 4: Take a pan Pour Oil or Ghee into it. Ghee is prefer than Oil because Ghee as a better smoke point than Oil. 

Step 5: Ghee or Oil should be in medium flame because Gulab Jamun will become brown without cooking inside. Now add balls and fry them for 1-2             mins in a medium flame. after 2 minutes reduce the flame medium to low and check if the balls turn into gold.

Step 6: After the balls turn into gold take them off the pan. Drain them very well.

Step 7: Add the balls directly to the hot sugar syrup. The sugar syrup must not be too hot or too cool. Soak the Gulab Jamun at least 2 hours in                     sugar syrup.

Step 8: Garnish Gulab Jamun with chopped pista/ badam and serve them.
