Poha Vada is a light and tasty snack very easy to prepare. Following ingredients are used to prepare Poha Vada.


Atukulu/Poha     – 2 Cups                  Cumin  – 1 Tbs

Chopped Onion  – 1 Cup                    Salt      – as much required

Green Chillies      – 4                         Pudina     

Potatoes               – 2                          Corriander

Rice flour             – 5 Tbs                  Curry leaves

Oil                        – 500 ml

Curd                     – 4 Tbs

Procedure for making Poha Vada:

Step 1: Rince the poha twice with water and keep it aside for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 2: Cut each potato into 4 equal parts and boil in water for 20 minutes.

Step 3: Now mix poha with mashed potato, Onion, Chillies, Rice flour, Cumin, Curd, Pudina, Corriander, Curry leaves, and a little pinch of salt to                 form a dough.

Step 4: Take a pan with 500 ml of oil and heat it in a middle flame.

Step 5: Take a small-sized dough and flatten slightly, Fry them in oil until it becomes golden brown color.

            Now serve Poha vada on a plate with Tomato Chutney and enjoy.
